Yve Oh (she/her) is a media artist based in Cologne. She studied at Shanghai Conservatory of Music (BA) and Academy of Media Arts Cologne (MFA).
Yve is drawn to the textures of memory, to the ways affect travels between bodies and materials, and to how intimate artistic spaces open up through polyphonic weaving of different media, including text, soundscape, moving image, performance and digital interface.
Working across the fault lines of multiple official narratives, her works attend to the individual experience folded into infrastructures, archives, and everyday life — exploring disobedience in the space between speculation and reality, questioning the notion of human/nature duality throughout our timeline.
